How to get involved

What is a Gang Show?
A Gang Show is a special type of Variety Show performed by members of the Scouts and Guides. The aim of the shows is to give people in Scouting and Guiding the opportunity to develop performance skills and perform in a professional theatrical environment.
What Age do I have to be?
If you are an active member of Scouts, Guides, Explorers, Rangers, Young Leaders, Network or a Leader in the Worthing area then we would love you to be part of our "Gang". Cubs and Brownies don't take part in the whole show, but do appear in a couple of numbers and have separate rehearsals and registration day - See the separate page for more details.
Do I need to Audition? Do I need to be able to sing and dance?
NO! You just need enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and 'do your best'.
When does it take place?
The Show usually takes every two years at the Pavilion Theatre, during the Easter holiday. Main cast rehearsals mostly take place on Sunday afternoons and Cubs and Brownies on Saturday mornings.
Our next show takes place 1/4/2015 - 4/4/2015.
What's it like being in the show?
Brilliant, fun, excellent, amazing, superb, unforgettable are all words which have been used to sum up what being in the Gang Show is like. Cast members reckon it is one of the most amazing experiences you could ever imagine. Put simply it is fun, friendship and a place where you will make everlasting memories.
